Called Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale. The body is light copper with a yellowish khaki head. The aroma is massive blueberry pancakes. There is also a little bit of a floral note, but it’s mostly about the blueberries. Nasty fake blueberry candy is the main flavor here with some bitter plastic notes. There is also some burnt match sticks. Not good at all. This is the type of beer that makes people dislike fruit beers.

Jun 2, 2008 Amber with quickly diminishing tan head. Aroma of blueberries, semi-candied and caramel. Malted body with an apple juice feel. Taste of mild berry with a bad bitter finish. So-so.

May 18, 2008 Bought the bottle in Bar Harbor. It is a nice ale, very earthy and a bit too carbonated. lemony finish with only a hint of hops. the odor of Blue berries is noticeable, but no factor in taste. Deep amber and slightly cloudy.
