My first beer from Argentina. What a let down. Pretty light in flavor. A little malty, and some mild mild hops, that’s about it, folks.
Basically, it’s a fancy bottle of Dead Guy.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Bottle. Light brown - gold pour. Aroma is some pit fruit, dark malt, sugar, smoked wood. Flavor is the same, but all a little muted. Overall, the pit fruit, sugar and light smoked wood come through. Balanced, just a little short on flavor. hopscotch (5511), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Bottle … Clear, deep, dark, dirty orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head that never fades. Woody, lightly funky, earthy nose. Medium-bodied with stinging carbonation. Earthy, sweet, malty flavor – big time caramel sumptuousness. Sweet caramel finish. bhensonb (4356), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 16, 2009 Bottle from South Bay Drug. 750 c&c. Bottle recommends not too cold. Pours clear reddish/orangeish/copperish. Three finger off-white head. Mild aroma of malt and very lightly sour fruit. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is lighter cherry/berry with rather chocolaty malt. Just a bit woody towards the finish. Chocolate moves in and out, and there are subtle notes of darkish fruit and astringent wood. I’m not saying oak, I’m not not saying oak. Finally smoke comes and goes. As it warms, things vary. Subtle. Equivalent to a really good red wine - except for the carbonation. Ok, it’s quite malty, but not sticky. Works really well in my mouth. The label on the back of the bottle has many words, but "hop" is not one. Still, it’s very smooth. Very good. Flavor is, well, nonexistant. Tastes about as bland as beer can be. I paid a lot for this, so I’ll be sucking it down all night long....bleh. daknole (3000), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
