Picked this up at some joint on the street in Montreal, so I could sup on something back in l’hotel. Pleasantly surprised to say that this is a lively, if not overly complex ale that has a robust yeasty body backed by fairly modest spice and honey elements in the finish. I’ve never been the biggest fan of bieres de miel, but this one has a gritty, saison-like character that almost wins me over. Nice.

Amber/gold, with very little head. Sweet spicy aroma. Very sweet, with a citrus flavor.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Pours a light golden amber color. Aromas of citrus/coriander/some hops. I not big a beers with coriander like tastes. Probably a good beer just not my cup of beer. Almost like a Belgian Wit with a bite.

Peace on earth and mercy mild! This is the perfect beer for Christmas morning. Pours with a luxurious white head that lingers a while and a cloudy, exotic looking orange-tinted hue. The flavour is delightfully subtle and yet playful and the palate probably deceptively simple and beautiful. Quite unique - finishes crisp, but only after a slightly citrusy, herby like mild wheat orientation. Actually hard to describe. Definitely worth a try.

clear yellow, big smooth white lacing head. looks great. Honey in the aroma clearly, but also some citrussy fruity notes to balance. overall a mild and very nice aroma. flavor is sweet and flowery. honey, faint hoppy bitterness, yellow fruits, very mild. your typical belgian blonde with quite some honey in it. probably a tad too sweet for one to have several bottles. come to think of it, the flavor resembles the drink snowball.

Pours very cloudy dark amber with a small white head. The aroma seems like the beer has some age on it, but it is still pleasant. There are mushy toasted malts, very dirty earthy yeast and rich toffee notes. Medium / thick body with some effervescent carbonation. The flavor starts with much of what was on the aroma along with 7-Up soda aspects, light citrus and very mush malts. This is okay, but I’d like to try a fresher bottle at some point.
