Bottle poured into snifter- poured 20% transparent when held directly to light source, medium carbonation of tiny bubbles, light tan head floated around for awhile, very light lacing. Aroma of yeast, sugar, various dark fruits, and a note of molasses. Hits the mouth with a medium body, dark malts hit the mouth heavy at first, a nice dark molasses taste comes in the middle, a bit of a nutty finish for me with a slight warming side effect. I have to make some time to enjoy this one...

Dark brown with a disappearing tan head. Complex aroma with fruity yeast, dark dried fruits, some honey and a hint of bubblegum. Rather sweet with dark malts and dried fruits flavour, and warming alcohol. Not the most extravagant beer in the genre, but a solid choice.

Bottle - 330ml. Dark brown body with low carbonation and a thick, lasting beige foamy head. Nice malty aroma with honeyish and fruity hints. Well balanced taste that carries vineous, plummy notes. It ends with a decent bittersweet, warming finish. Good Winterbok.

black pour, no head, licorice smell. tastes like licorice and roasted malts and there is no carbonation. i’m pretty sure my bottle was bad.

Pour:Dark Brown with a two finger head, with Belgium lacing. Nose: Wheat: toasted malt, citrus, spice and hint of sweetness. and fruit Taste: Nutty, toasted and roasted malts, orange and coriander with honey tones. The hops is barely there> Body: Thick Overall: A Very interesting beer with heavy tones of honey and orange and a good malt complex. It is a good beer.

dark beer, mild flavor, malty with light molasses flavor. some orange and coriander initially. the honey tones out the bitterness of the the bok. but clean and crisp all the way through. very good!

Huge off white head over a dark chestnut brown body. Dark, burnt caramel aroma. Sweet malty and one-dimensional.
