Aroma of yeast, sugar, various dark fruits, and a note of molasses. Hits the mouth with a medium body, dark malts hit the mouth heavy at first, a nice dark molasses taste comes in the middle, a bit of a nutty finish for me with a slight warming side effect. I have to make some time to enjoy this one... ChristianScheffel (4632), Odense, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Dark brown with a disappearing tan head. Complex aroma with fruity yeast, dark dried fruits, some honey and a hint of bubblegum. Rather sweet with dark malts and dried fruits flavour, and warming alcohol. Not the most extravagant beer in the genre, but a solid choice. Eructoblaster (1505), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
