Very dark brown, with a slim tan head. Nice malty aroma, with some dark fruits. Flavor profile is malty, toasty, fruity and lightly alcoholic, with a long, sweet, vinous, estery and gently warming finish.

Bouteille 330ml.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a big, greyish-brown head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Notes of yeast. A bit cloying in the long run. Flavour is sweet, fruity and yeasty as well. Finish is very sweet; the honey shows here. Faint notes of licorice. Lingering apple notes. Also a bit cloying in the long run. Too much carbonation. 09-07-07.

Belgian beer festival Brussels 2006: I really like this beer. had it twice at the festival...which is dumb because there are more types of beer to drink than you ever could.

33cl bottle from Noel Cuveliers, Abele. Deep ruby colour with lasting beige head. Some syrupy malt aroma. Some dark fruits. A rather good (if sweet) bok with some great choc/dark fruit malts. Not a bad finish, some good fruits. Bit of hop. Warming on a day of blizzards.
