Dark brown with a lacy tan head. Aromas of dark malt, with stewed dark fruit, and touch of peat. Sweet light malt flavors. Seems to have a lot of wheat sweetness in it, with wild honey and light fruit. Has parts of a doppel, parts of a weissbock and a touch of dubble. I wish this was still widely available.

Bottled. Dark brown with a minor white head. The aroma is fresh and nutty with hints of fruit. The flavour can be described as a fruity mixture, mainly plum, with a sweet after taste.

Aroma: floral, honey and roasty malty notes. Hints of apricot. Apperance: dark brown with strong red highlights. Floculated particles in the bottle. Fluffy tan head with sheet lacing. Flavour: malty with apricot floral notes. Sweet and spiritous. Palate: thin with a spiritous and lightly bitter finish.

Dark brown with a big off-white head. The aroma was of ripe bananas and dark fruits, together with some yeast. Taste was sweet, but no particular honey flavour that I could discern. Also present were plums and Indian tea. Delightful beer for a December night.

Bottled. Very dark brown colour, big white/beige head. Aroma is strong sweet fruity and plummy with weak hints of alcohol. Flavour is very refreshing, mainly of alcohol, plum, spices and weakly notes of some very salty licorace.

I call this beer a spicy bok beer. It is full of taste. Not too sweet and not too bitter and much taste. This is a very good bock.
