Very prickly in the mouth. Immediately very spicy and peppery. A waft of artificial banana comes through followed by evident liquorice and the slightest puff of smoke. Lots of salt and raisins too, and a chunk of Crunchie bar, which along with the sticky mouthfeel is the only evidence of the added honey. Some wood, vanilla and more banana in the sweet finish. The fizz gets really annoying by the end. There’s a whole raft of flavours in this interesting brew, but something about it didn’t quite work for me - probably the fizz and the banana.
