The gas in this one feels like the gas of soft drinks. Big bubbles. The honey really comes through giving this a nice sweetness. The best honey beer I have experienced, often the honey is just too much, but not here...

Dark. Quite malty flavour. No significant finish. Very smooth and a bit watery. The alcohol is very well hidden.

Dark brown, good steady brown head, lace. Aroma is fruity and christmasy - lots of raisins. Smooth, soft, carbonated mouthfeel. Body is quite thin - hides alcohol well.Malty, fruity, an excellent Belgium. Listing this as a bock is a suprise, it’s is more like a brune - Belgium ale.

Bottle. Some plums, with some fruitckaye christmasy type flavours. The flavour is drowned out a bit by the Belgian fizzy and slightly lemony acidity, some yeasty bitterness.

Smoothish, velvety beer with an appealing look and rich fruitcake flavour. This would be a good evening favourite, if it wasn’t for it’s lack of complexity. Pretty good apart from that.

Aroma is fruity and sugary sweet, some apparent honey, plum and red grape with lighter touches of banana, orange, licorice and floral perfume. Deep, dark reddish-brown color, bottle-conditioned, with a lasting, foamy off-white head and thick lacing. Flavor profile is malty, toasty, fruity and lightly alcoholic, with a long, sweet, vinous, estery and gently warming finish. Medium-full body with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. A very good choice for a dessert or nightcap.

Spicy fruitcake aroma. Plums dominate. Black with a tan lasting head. Light spice, chocolate, fruitcake and plums. Smooth full bodied. Nice.

Ruddy dark red body held up to a light, basically black otherwise. Sweet malty body with an interesting red wine bitterness. Not a whole lot off complexity to this bock but it has a great smooth, velvety mouthfeel that makes for a nice drinking experience.
