I always love a good Bock and Barbar’s Winter Bock not only has a great traditional Bock taste, but a suitable high ABV as well. Taste was smooth, crisp, gummy, syrupy and slightly dry. Hints of raspberries, dried fruits, blackberry wine, and smoked peaches were all prevalent and welcome in the territory between my cheeks...the cheeks on my face, that is. Has a dark brown with a medium frothy light tan head that lasts awhile leaving behind good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is sweet fruit malt with raisin and honey. The taste is a sweet malt with licorice and raisin. Easy to drink hides the alcohol well, a very good dunkler bock from Barbar. mike1977ok (642), Netherlands

Dark, opaque color. Brown head. Full body. Robust aroma that really kicks the initial experience. A spicey honey flavor. A bit on the sweet side. Slight anise note. Doesn’t finish as strong as it starts, but it doesn’t let off either. mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA
