33 cl Bottle. Large lasting off-white head. Aroma: fruit, honey, yeast, and some dark fruit. Taste: honey, spices (coriander?) some roasted malt, some hops, quite sweet. A lot of nuances in this beer, but well balanced. Good one.

Sweet, very fruity aroma with raisins, molasses, tangy hops. Very dark brown with a reddish or orange tint, low head going to lace. Sweet, molasses/honey flavor, roasted malts, chocolate, dried fruits, spice, slightly citrusy. Very sweet and somewhat cloying, but generally quite tasty.

Very dark brown in color. Aroma is combination of sweet, spice and sour. Overcarbonated. Flavor is sweet and strong, somewhat malty. A good one.

Pours a dark chocolatey brown with a light brown head. Has a chocolate stout aroma. Smooth dark chocolate taste along with roasted malt sweetness. Really like a lager version of stout since there is a crispness to the taste. Some ABV warmth.

330ml bottle (Alvar, Turku)
Deep orange. Sour aroma. I’ve had this half a dozen times before, and this is outside the bell-curve with its acidic aroma, and lactic palate (which I actually quite liked). Should rerate a fresher one. Had 2 or 3 beers at Alvar which were not in their prime that evening, so maybe this is their cellaring rather than a Lefebvre quality problem.

Pours near black with a big off white head. Aroma is malty and slightly yeasty. Taste is malty and smooth, with some roasted malt and caramel coming through, along with a nice bit of yeast. Pretty good.
