Clear caramel pour with a finger thick off white head that dissipates quickly. Toffee and carmel malt notes on the nose. Flavor is very dulled and almost flavorless. Not sure how to describe the flavor. As a swirl it around my mouth there is a very tiny sour note and very dull malt but nothing else. This may be the perfect lawnmower beer. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 24, 2009 Bottle. Clear orange-amber with fizzy white head that lasts a long time, and lacing. Aroma is like tonic soda, very bland, strange, and devoid of malt character, let alone hops. Soft mouthfeel. Very odd beer. Has little flavor and yet there is nothing actually wrong. Reminds me of gin. Finishes with a gin-like subtly but the lack of malt/hop character makes this beer puzzling. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Poured a clear dark amber color with a thin off white head. The aroma was caramel. The flavor was malty, with a sweet twang in the finish. unclemike (833), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 12, 2009 Color of a marzen; deep, burnished copper with a bone white head. Lightly sweet caramel aroma. Smooth malt character with some toasted bread intertwined with residual sweetness. Pungent hop character in flavor sticks in the flavor. Pretty unpleasant.
