Aurelius (2443), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Dec 9, 2006 Light western hop aroma -- also lightly caramel. The ’red’ was actually less red than their ale. Briny brothy, medium hopping. Clumsy. beachbum25 (578), Powellville, Maryland, USA Dec 3, 2006 On tap-pours a standard clear copper color w/a slight white head. Not a lot of aroma, a touch of roasted malt. Has a weak roasted malt/barley flavor w/just a touch of hops-does give it a little more bite than your standard Amber. Slight metalic/medicinal finish. Not a great example-but better than the Macro crap. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA May 22, 2006 on tap-pours a white head with copper color. Aroma is faint malt. Taste is malt, plenty of c hops with slight flat finish. Good carbonation. A nice Red. foamee (5), Maryland, USA does not count Apr 8, 2004 True to style, this beer is very fresh tasting. Definately hoppy, it leaves a soft, satisfying finish.
