Busch Garden Williamsburg has on tap. The best A-B I’ve had. Was black in color with a thick tan head. Aroma was roasted malt. Body was watery but there was a bit of chocolate and coffee flavor. A Guinness imitation.

Wow, I wish I had knew this was a A-B beer. But I guess I would have not tried it unless I had been fooled in trying it. A dark black stout with some complex flavors. I find it hard to believe they actually brewed this. Good toasty flavors with a ark malt flavor that lasts through out the beer.

Draught Jet-black; rather light yellow, dense nitrohead. Roasted & burnt malts, licorice without the sweetness fresh greenery aroma. Very little sweetness is all that gets through the ice-cold temperature. Very professionaly served & ruined. Light MF, even empty, just typical grist slickness. Disappointing, but is it the serving or is it the beer?

lacking in flavor, but at least it has the correct flavor. had on tap, the head was enormous chocalate and unwavering. quite light body, aroma and taste unfulfilling. as nhorween said so astutely: watery

On tap. Dark black, nitrogenated pour with a creamy beige head. Roasted malt nose with a hit of vanilla and stale hops. Mouthfeel is suprisingly thin and watery, especially considering the rich appearance. Flavors of white bread toast and a sour pale lager finish. Overall, a typical Guinness imitation that doesn’t provide a comparable flavor body, but does provide more of the signature macrobrew pale lager finish.

Draft... Black ale with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki head. Excellent retention. The nose is just a touch roasty, but mainly a plethera of hop varieties (50 or so) and the same generic aroma of a textbook pale lager. How they pulled this off, I have no idea. Food color? The flavor is, again, just a toach roasty, but with undertones of a Michelob or World Select. Light to medium-bodied and (believe it or not) creamy with medium carbonation. Finishes bland and dry. At least AB is trying. Imitation (even a poor one) is the most sincere form of flattery.

I think this beer a bit underrated. It was better than Boddington’s or Murphy’s I thought. True I didn’t pick up much of an aroma, but it looked mighty tasty and had a smokey or burnt flavour similar to Guinness but hard to define. Overall, I was pleased.
