dpjuart (501), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA May 31, 2008 Draft Sample at brewpub. Pours gold with small white head, rimming. Nose is slightly corny with mild butter along with some grainy malts and slight fruit. Taste is light malt, slight butter with a crisp hop ending. Nice lager. Derek881 (285), Frederick, Maryland, USA Oct 1, 2007 Had this beer for the first time on draft at Frederick’s Oktoberfest. The aroma is soft but nice, with some citrus, grainy, and fruit hop scents, and a bit of malt. It has a pretty clear, light gold color with a small to average foamy white head. A nice flavor, mostly sweet with some fruity tones, but also a bit sour/bitter for contrast. It is on the lower side of the carbonation spectrum; not dry, some wetness. Overall a good light beer option that has pretty good flavor. Mirage52 (109), New Market, Maryland, USA May 15, 2006 On tap at the MBF. Poured a darker golden color than I was expecting. I expected this to be a light golden/blonde ale. The taste was more in line with what I was expecting -- it was somewhat light and smooth with a crisp finish free of any offensive hoppy aftertastes. I enjoyed it. The last time I went to B&H Restaurant I didn’t like any of their beers. I will know what to get when I got back. If only they would lower their prices... drkilmer (35), Myersville, Maryland, USA Aug 19, 2004 This is a very, very nice lager. Very light straw in color, with a white head. Cold and crips like a lager should be, but not so light as to be ineffectual. Simply a nice, clean, tasty lager. Good beer! argo0 (6018), Washington DC, USA Jun 11, 2004 Near clear, just a hint of straw -- lighter than any body I’ve ever seen, including low carb macros. Aroma is mild sweet, light grassy/spicy. Taste is medium sweet, some cereal, faint grassy/spicy. Very light body.
