Barley and Hops Hefeweizen

I sampled this beer on tap at the brewery. Very rich, fruity aroma composed mostly of hops. A cloudy, golden appearance with a foamy white head that lasted well into the drink. The flavor was heavily sweet, not bitter or sour. The beer had a medium body with an almost-thick texture. Overall a good seasonal draft beer, served with a slice of lemon.

Draft... Coudy, light straw colored ale with no head. The aroma is of banana, biscuit and citrusy lemon zest. The flavor is thin, but full of banana and tangy lemon. No clove or bubblegum in the nose or flavor. Ultra-light bodied and fizzy. Short, crisp, clean finish. Where’s the malt? A mediocre offering, but very refreshing on a such a hot, humid day.
