Barley and Hops Rippen Raspberry Wheat

The aroma is all about BERRIES, BERRIES, BERRIES and MORE BERRIES. Sweet Raspberries and Blueberries. I smell both, but the brew's name is specific. Great aroma, either way. I hope the flavor lives up to it. This beer is a slightly hazy, light amber. Small, creamy, white head with minimal lacing. The flavor is fruity, lightly malty and lightly sweet up front. Nicely balanced with lightly bitter and tart hops on the backside. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Short, fruity, tart and dry finish. Great Spring and Summer beer. Why it's on tap in February, I have no idea. A very good offering from what I've found to be a fairly mdeiocre brew-pub. Although, the food is very decent and the staff is great.
