Pours a see thru golden color with a small white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Flavor has lots of hop bitterness with very little sweetness to balance it. FInish is very bitter.
riversideAK (1570), Shoreline, Washington, USA Aug 23, 2007 An funky aroma of sweatsocks, but not in a bad way. A little bit of caramel malt is there as well. Pours orangish. Flavor is a sour funk mix of hops and malt. Definitley an English Style. I also get a little earth, more specifically dirt. Finishes mildly bitter. A nice English Style IPA. Bockyhorsey (1961), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 18, 2007 Sample at Brewery. Talk aoubt complex beers these days this one was hard for me to say an IPA? Malt spice of sorts for aroma. Orange body with off white head. Flavor had a malty sweetness with some citrus trying to get my attention. Odd beer, just didn’t have that cool and crisp on the palate for me. Will have to note to rerate this one. ratman197 (2260), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 30, 2006 On tap @ Barley Brothers poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, pine and light citrus. Palate was medium bodied and dry. Flavors of bread, light carmel and earthiness with a lingering moderatly bitter finish. timmy300 (150), bloomington, Illinois, USA Mar 10, 2006 hazy golden amber color.....delightful citrus floral aroma.....tons of grapefruit flavor and some apricot mixed in dry bitter finish.....good drinkable ipa
