A decent brown ale, that has some nice body, sticky and malty on the palate, with a caramel and toffee flavor you can really sink your teeth into and makes an excellent liquid accompaniment to the pub food they serve here. Finishes very clean on the palate.

On tap at Barley Browns in Baker City, OR--Amber-copper light bodied beer with a small foamy beige white head. Malty, sticky, hoppy thin clean finish. Crisp, mild bitterness.

on tap-pours a light tan head and brownish/red color. Aroma is barnyard, sweet medium/dark malt-some caramel/chocolate. Taste is barnyard, sweet medium/dark malt-some caramel/chocolate, peat?, huskiness, some fruit, secondary/faint hops. OK/mild carbonation.

On tap at brewpub. Poured a mostly clear brown color with a thin soapy tan head. Mostly sweet malt characters in the nose with a very mild nuttiness. Taste was pretty much as expected for a brown ale, except there was a little bit of roast bitterness at the fiinish. Better than expected.

Pours a nice medium brown color. Aromas of light chocolate with maybe a hint of coffee. Flavor is a nice mellow chocolate with a touch of nut.

On Tap at the brewpub. Deep clear mahogany with a thin light tan head. Traces of lacing. Nice up front cohocolate aroma, and soft chocolate and slightly sweet, deep roasted, woody flavor. Somewhat chalky feel. Nice

Tap at brew pub: Cola color and seemed to have quite a hoppy aroma for a brown ale. I also noticed some coffee in the aroma as well as a mild presence in the taste. The feel was comparable to other browns and had a bit of a metallic aftertaste. But, I thought this was really good.
