On Tap at the brewpub. Deep clear mahogany with a thin light tan head. Traces of lacing. Nice up front cohocolate aroma, and soft chocolate and slightly sweet, deep roasted, woody flavor. Somewhat chalky feel. Nice

On tap at brewpub. Poured a mostly clear brown color with a thin soapy tan head. Mostly sweet malt characters in the nose with a very mild nuttiness. Taste was pretty much as expected for a brown ale, except there was a little bit of roast bitterness at the fiinish. Better than expected.

On tap at Barley Browns in Baker City, OR--Amber-copper light bodied beer with a small foamy beige white head. Malty, sticky, hoppy thin clean finish. Crisp, mild bitterness.

Tap at brew pub: Cola color and seemed to have quite a hoppy aroma for a brown ale. I also noticed some coffee in the aroma as well as a mild presence in the taste. The feel was comparable to other browns and had a bit of a metallic aftertaste. But, I thought this was really good.
