From the Jug at the GABF Colorado Convention Center, Denver 11/10/2008 Very fruity pineapple aroma. Golden coloured and very hoppy with a crisp and bitter lasting finish.

On tap at the 2009 NABA. A stand out beer for sure. No surprise that it won gold. Pours a golden color with a medium frothy white head. A huge aroma of citrus hops, grapefruit and pine. The flavor was excellent; bitter, lots of citrus, pine and caramel malts as well. Flavorful and strong but very quaffable like a good IIPA should be. I wish I had tried this a few more times.

Lovely simcoe nose, fruity and full of citrus and grapefruit notes. This is a big beer judging by the nose. Deep golden coloring, with a small fizzy head. Lovely fruits throughout with some soapy hops and a small banana esther in the finish. A solid IPA.

On tap at Barley Browns in Baker City, OR--Glowing deep orange amber body with a frothy thin whitish head. Lingering bitterness. Not as overwhelming as the IPA at BB’s. A+!

Courtesy of jayg at Tampa Ratebeer gathering. Huge clear golden amber pour. Looks great. Good things to follow. Huge citrus hops in the nose right away. An almost unstoppable force of pine and juicy ripe tropical fruits. Incredible. Take a swig and experience heaven. Powerful, energetic. The hops work together in an incredible act of fusion that can’t be stopped. Profound. Amazing. Best IIPA I’ve had.

Courtesy of jayg, thanks Jay. Pours clear copper with gold edges and thin off white head. Wow, big aroma of pine hops that seem to border on wet hops along with grassiness. It delivers a big mouth feel full of pine, resiny, grassy, wet hops that hit the spot for this hop head of mine. A mild malt sweetness never exceeds at making its presence felt beyond just a murmur. It leaves a nice pine hop sense into the after taste.
