jcwattsrugger (3862), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 8, 2007 on tap-pours a white head and cloudy/hazy gold color. Aroma is citrus/grapefruit/pine (cascade) hops, some medium malt. Taste is gentle, somewhat sweet citrus/grapefruit (cascade) hops, some medium malt. JMFG (1117), Florida, USA Sep 17, 2007 On tap at brewpub. Poured a nice cloudy full dark yellow color with a thick billowy white head. Aroma is great with a strong fresh hoppiness that was equal parts floral and piney. The palate was a bit lighter than expected, but it didn’t hinder the brew, and rather made it more drinkable. The taste was citrusy just short of all-out grapefruitiness, and a floral finish comes out nicely and is supported by just enough malt. Very good. skoisirius (474), Seattle, Washington, USA Feb 27, 2008 On tap at the pub. Pours a lovely, hazed goldenish yellow with a nice white head. Mellow, balanced citrus and hopped up aroma. Smells like it should. Flavor is actually overwhelmingly damn good! Very straight forward pale, hopped up throughout with a balanced sweet malt kick. I’d honestly put this up there with Dale’s...even easier to drink it is. Nice, medium to full body, fairly carbonated. Not much to say as we’ve all had a pale ale, but I really enjoyed this! harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Mar 18, 2006 Damn this was tasty, the most impresive of their selection. A nice pungent cascadian hoppiness, a great example of hoppy to malty balance. Indiana_Red (1462), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 6, 2006 On Tap at the brewpub. Medium orange-amber color with a nice lasting off whiote head. Very pronounced citrusy Cascade hops aroma. Grapefruit and tangerines all over the place. Flavor was not so hoppy, a medium mild balance of bittertness and somewhat sweet malts. Very tasty.
