Cole’s Italian tasting. A hazy whie witte colour that has a little head and then is laceu. Pleasant aroma and average mouthfeel. The taste is most refreshing grapefruit, perhaps a bit of orange from the orange peel. The Saaz works, he carbonation is right there. The malting works. It is slightly yeasty.

Bottle (750ml) at the ’Coles Italian Beer Festival’, Buffalo, NY. Pours a hazy pale gold with an average size foamy white head. Aroma of lemon foremost followed by other fruit, yeast, herbs and spices. Flavour is yeasty and citrusy along with wheat, herbs and light floral hops. Average bodied. Quite good, easy to drink and nice tasting.

Sampled 9/18/2009. This Belgian Wit pours a medium orange gold color from a 375ml bottle. Large sized foamy white head with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity, sweet and spicy. A medium bodied Belgian Wit. The malts are fruity and sweet. Touch of coriander and orange peel. The hops are floral and spicy. Light and refreshing. Nice crisp and dry finish. Perhaps a touch of pepper at the finish as well. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottled at Enoteca Decanter, Milano. Cloudy straw colour, creamy head. Light lemony nose. Sweetish and creamy, light-medium bodied. Soft with notes of paper and orange. Seemsl like it tries to be both flavourful and refreshing at once, but falls somewhare in between.

750 ml bottle. A hazy pale to medium yellow beer with a large and almost fully lasting white head. The aroma is quite malty and wheaty, lightly hoppy and yeasty, with notes of citrus and coriander. The flavour is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. About medium body, lively carbonation, average to lung duration finish with light to medium bitterness. An interesting witbier, quite true to style. Very refreshing in this season.
