I’d hold this against them if they advertised this as a Wit -- but they don’t (it’s just Ratebeer’s classification).
A little darker than a true Wit but with nice, prominent foam. Flavors are lightly citrus spiced like a wit but very malty/bready. Sort of a bready witbier. Interesting choice and well-crafted. I liked it! mnurda (437), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 15, 2007 Pours an attractive pale yellow body with a small white head that drapes some sheet lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeasty bread, coriander, banana, and lemon. Light bodied and well carbonated. Taste is overly spicy, with coriander and orange peel. Creamy banana, wheat, yeast, and hints of lemon and orange. A bit pretentious, but a surprisingly good effort. Enjoyable. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 17, 2007 Thinly headed over a proper witbier body... hazily pale golden with moderate carbonation. Lemon, dough, cereal grain and allspice aroma with hints of Hallertau or Saaz. Flavor expands upon this beer’s spiciness and shows a mildly-hot capsaicin quality. Otherwise tart, again lemony, again bready. Rather full in the mouth with a lingering fruity-sourness. Quite enjoyable for a beer I thought was going to be just another ditzy blonde.

Poured a clear, pale yellow with a small white head. Citrus, spice, grain in the nose. Thin, gentle carbonation. Crisp flavor with the blend of fruit and spice. badgerben (3610), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
