Apr 28, 2006 On tap at the brewpub in New Brighton. Dark brown, some copper notes - off white nead. Minty, earthy aroma. Flavor has some chocolate notes, a hint of caramel but is slighlty green. Not your usual altbier. Decently thick mouthfeel.

Apr 17, 2006 MN Winter Get Together, 2006. Dry, malty aroma with some banana. Reddish amber color with beautiful lace. This is an excellent alt. BJ’s comes through again.

Feb 8, 2006 Dark brown color with no head. Simple, malty aroma. Dry malt taste with some hop and something almost salty on the finish. A little tart finish.

Feb 5, 2006 Gee,I wonder if the first rater of this works at BJ’s??? I enjoyed this and the nose was malty and even a little farmy- grain action going on. It was very malty on the tongue with very little sweetness to it. A good brew for non-beer lovers to try. Non over the edge in any way.

Jan 27, 2006 Avery good alt. True to the commercial description. Served by the glass or growler. A very freindly pub to enjoy a pint in!
