Dark brown color with a medium head. Sweet malt aroma with a little plum. The taste is pretty much what you’d expect from the aroma: sweet malt. Somewhat syrupy. Almost a pinch of banana. No way is it 10%.

Deep russet hue, a dark and lovely brown, with a fine, if shortish head...
aroma: full of sweetness and malty tones, rich with dark fruits, plums, cherries, and plenty of oak...
Taste: more of the same, plenty of dark fruits, rich and delicious, maple and molasses, nutty, nearly buttery, Rolls langourously along the palate. Very tasty.
Strength lays low, you’re never quite feeling it..and, in the end, it’s quite, quite, how do you say, ...? yummy!
An interesting, and overall, delicious version of a dark Begian style.
P.S., someone please change the name of this beer!

Dec 31, 2005 Updated: Jan 3, 2006Dark Cloudy Brown Coloring with Cream/Sandy Head. Sweet Malt and Belgian Spice Aroma. Medium Mouthfeel. Pretty Sweet Tasting Overall..Bit Dryer at the End, but Maintains Sweetness. Alcohol Well Hidden.
Aroma is Sweet with Cinnamon and/or Nutmeg.. Very Sweet Candy Sugar Taste. Pretty Light Overall on the Mouthfeel.

Sep 3, 2004 Very dry roasted malt aroma. Very cloudy, dark brownish amber. Off-white head. Mostly dimishing. Very attractive. Sweet Belgian flavor. Doesn’t taste like high in alcohol. 10% has to be overstated. Pretty well made for a small Minnesota brewpub. They almost nailed it. Too sweet. Good for the ladies.
