hazy yellow, fine white head, drippy lace,
sweet estery aroma with light fruit and a nice spicy character,
light sweet malt flavor, nice bitterness from start to finish, spicy character blends well with the bitterness, touch of fruityness keeps it balanced and complex

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 8, 2007 Draught glass at the brewpub, RBSG Minneapolis pub crawl, June 22 2007. Cloudy, bright gold-amber body with a small lasting white head, bit of lace....aroma of pears, lots of sweet and funky Belgian yeast, light earthy English hops; doesn’t meld perfectly but stays interesting....quite hoppy on the tongue, full-bodied, fairly juicy and fruity, lightly tart and a bit dry to finish.... to me it seemed more Belgian than English, but just barely so....a fascinating, reasonably successful experiment. yespr (12025), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Flavour is slight chemical and going into a mild bubblegum sensation. Mild bitter finish. Yeasty bubblegum flavoured beers I really don’t get, well brewed, but I just don’t like it. sliffy (1967), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Pours a nice hazy golden with a fluffy lasting white head- and decent carbonation (when I came back the following day for the pub crawl , this beer seemed to have less carbonation). Aroma is spicy yet clean belgian ale yeast- tons of herbal an dgrassy hops- hoppy saison-like. Very hoppy flavor with some spicy phenols, grass, herbal and flowery with a nice tacky almost harsh bitterness which I loved. Smooth body and mouthfeel.
