Jun 27, 2007 RBSG 07weekendl. Pours a nice hazy golden with a fluffy lasting white head- and decent carbonation (when I came back the following day for the pub crawl , this beer seemed to have less carbonation). Aroma is spicy yet clean belgian ale yeast- tons of herbal an dgrassy hops- hoppy saison-like. Very hoppy flavor with some spicy phenols, grass, herbal and flowery with a nice tacky almost harsh bitterness which I loved. Smooth body and mouthfeel.

May 23, 2007 Pours the color of sunshine. Lightly hazy. Sugar dipped Clementine and vanilla aroma. Slightly musty but bright wheat edges. Grassy bitter taste is most obvious. The pleasant song of Belgian yeast hums in the background. Dusty, aged, but fresh. Springtime flowers sprouting amongst the farmhouse straw. Palate is sprightly and soft. Quite lovely.

Jun 25, 2007 One of the better beers from BJ’s. It has a light Belgian yeast aroma that includes hops. Flavor is quite dry, lightly spiced. Cloudy yellow with a nice head. More of a saison than a Belgian ale.

Sep 16, 2007 (Draught) Pours a lightly cloudy golden body with a small white head. Aroma of coriander, orange peel, and soapiness. Flavor of grassy/floral hops, herbs, and spicy yeast with a dry finish.

Jun 26, 2007 RBSG 2007 at Barley John’s. The beer is a hazy pale straw colored body with a creamy white head. The aroma is fruity yeasty Belgian ale mixed with an English hop. The flavor is fruity with light oranges and hay with Belgian yeasts. Drying palate with a nice bitterness and texture.

Oct 4, 2007 Draft @ Brewpub: Yellow hazy, light head and lacing. Nose of belgian yeast and spicy herbs, moderate hops and malt. Thin flavor though, not much in the yeast areas in the tail. Meh.
