Commercial Description:
This deep copper colored ale is a great accompani- ment to the crisp autumnal weather. A caramel sweetnes from British Crystal malts with a bready assertivesness from a touch of Biscuit malt. This amber ale is balanced by Mt. Hood hops to bring you a beer that is brewed for the fall.

Sampled during ABR ’07 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pours a semi-hazy reddish copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a fine film and white ring. Aroma of sweet caramel and biscuit-like malt, a touch of citrus/piney hops and a little roasted nut character. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of carmel malt, some citrus zest, and a hint of fruit character. Finish is semi-sweet with a malty caramel aftertaste flavor.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a deep, rich brown with amber undertones. Nice, sweet, malty and piney aroma. Excellent balance of hops, grain and malted barley. Medium to full bodied. Nice expression of an amber ale.

Pours brown/almost black with hint of copper color coming through. Kind of like a subdued scotch ale. Of course it has that barley jonhs grain taste which is nice.

Dark Copper/Brown Color with Off White Head. Low on Carbonation but Fresh on Tap. Lightly Sweet and Dry Malty Aroma. Light to Medium Bodied Brew.. Dry and Subtle Sweet Malt Taste, Light Nutty Quality to it...Finishing with Fresh Dry Mt.Hood Hops in the Aftertaste. Drying Finish. Nice Balance and Wonderful to Find a Well Made Amber Ale. The Hops aren’t Over the Top, but Present Enough Where you Can Really Enjoy Their Flavor.
