| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 14, 2007 Tap at the brewpub. Pours a nice amber with a decent sized white head. A tad more bitterness on the nose and palate that the Little Barley Bitter. Decent amount of citrusy hops make up for a slightly watery finish. Again... quite drinkable and it’s got a fair amount of flavor. hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA

Citrus and pine hops flavours with a good tasty and bisucty malt back. Good quaffable mouthfeel. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 6, 2007 Deep amber color, staying head. A fragrant blast of northwest hops is first from the glass. Some quieter notes of honey biscuits and malt dispersions. Very green tasting. Heavy on pine resins and some citrus reduction. Crisp and clean, slightly English in disposition (but in an IPA kind of way). Lacking the tepid fruity and grainy depths of better examples, but compensating with its refreshing qualities. Palate weighs a bit thin though not watery. Not for the most particular, but approachable and well made.
