I had this over a year ago and loved it--I think I had it somewhere around a 3.8. I’ll enter it in 15 years with the rest of my backlog. Poured into my Barley John’s tulip. Clear honey amber with a 1 1/2 finger off-white head, fading to a half finger before long. Aroma of some sweet caramel and grain, green leafy hops, and the same honey graham cracker Andy got. Also some light grapefruity hops. Flavor has a little less hops than I remember (as did the aroma), but still plenty of malts--caramel, honey and graham--and doesn’t really get that sweet. Finishes with bitterness peaking around a 2-3 with some dried leafy hops. Light to moderate carbonation with light body. I could drink so much of this stuff--a wonderful session beer, though I’m not quite sure it’s as good as it was last year (just like everything else!). pepsican (885), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA
