Jan 27, 2007 10 oz pour at the brewpub. Light pomegranite aril aroma. Orange ruddy pour, with a rime of rose. Flavor is a real pithy Raspberry seed over light sweet malts and an edge of long grassy dryness. Muddled grains and distant husks combine with the acerbic seeds for a unique beer. However, I’m not sure it’s particularly drinkable or intriguing. Unique however.

Dec 27, 2006 Pinkish orange sample. Aroma is of nothing much except malt and papery woody raspberry. Tastes like the flavor of a raspbeery seed stuck in the teeth. Bitter and acidic. Definitely a bit hoppy too. Not a full pint’s worth good but not bad at all. Maybe it’s the same as the raspberry amber, but it isn’t amber. Corrections?
