Commercial Description:
Well-balanced and refreshing. Copper coloured, it is crisp with a toasty note. In Germany, they call it Roggenbier. Now, about the name. Hint: Look out the front window.

Dark copper color with a small white head. Malty flavor with a hop bite at the end. Pretty good. Update 2008 not very hoppy anymore.

Slight on the rye flavorings, a decent malty mix with nuts and spice. A bit of sharpness to the aftertaste - a nice little bite.

Tasted at Barley’s 10th Anniversary Party on November 21st. This beer was a dark amber color with a very thin beige head. Nutty and toasty aroma. Complemented my meatloaf very well as it was a tart and crisp. Not the best Barley’s has to offer but above average.

One of my favorite beers after the Russian Imperial and Oatmeal Stouts. Has a good color, nice aroma and wonderful flavor. When it comes back in the fall I will be carry home a jug of this every night like I do with the Russian Imperial.
