Thin and sticky lacing. The aroma is really sweet with caramel, brown sugar and malt. Medium-bodied with a nice balance of flavors. Brown sugar and malt are offset by a fair amount of hops. The finish is earthy and is equal parts hops and sweet malt, along with a bit of dark fruit afterftaste. Well done Alt! BennyTicklez (621), USA

Pours a mostly hazy deep amber with a medium off white head that left tons of lacing. Aroma of spicy noble hops, caramel, toasted malt, floral notes, light chocolate notes, surprised at how hoppy this was...but more noble than "citrusy". Flavor of some resiny hops, moderate hop bitterness, toffee, nuts, toasted malt and grapefruit. This was interesting...not sure I would really consider it an altbier. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
