Aroma, bready notes, yeast, grassy hops, some biscuity notes. Flavor, bready, light malts, yeast, some fruity and grassy notes. Clean and crisp, it was a solid beer. How: Tap at brewpub (SmokeHouse location, AleHouse #2)
The look: Clear yellow body topped by a little white ring of foam
In long: Basic and boring malts. Timid dry hops. Carbonation is too much for such a light beer. A little plastic feel. There’s anything to say really about such a basic bland blonde ale. Announced as a “new” beer on Barley’s menu so maybe they’ll fine-tune it. But as it stands right now it is macro-like boring. if all Blonde Bombshells were that appealing the entire California Porn industry would collapse.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2008 Draft at the Smokehouse. Pours golden color with a small white head that goes away fairly quickly. Normal lager, dortmunder like smell. Slightly malty and biscuity, cereal and beery but clean. Taste is smooth, super clean, low bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied. Dry, crisp finish. This is super drinkable and very clean, certainly nothing offensive about this. Doesn’t have the great flavor though that would elevate it to something greater than just a nice, easy drinking lager. Tmoney99 (4795), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 5, 2008 Draft at Smokehouse. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished with good lacing. Moderate tart citrus hoppy aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light to medium bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met with this soft brew. Dogbrick (2907), Columbus, Ohio, USA

This brew pours a clear dark golden color with a medium thin bone white head that has decent retention. Thin rings of lacing. The aroma is caramel and earthy malt wuth a touch of hops. Light, clean body with flavors of malt, citrus and mild hops. The finish is fruity with a light hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
