Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished with good lacing. Moderate tart citrus hoppy aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light to medium bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met with this soft brew. Dogbrick (2864), Columbus, Ohio, USA

How: Tap at brewpub (SmokeHouse location, AleHouse #2)
The look: Clear yellow body topped by a little white ring of foam
In long: Basic and boring malts. Timid dry hops. Carbonation is too much for such a light beer. A little plastic feel. There’s anything to say really about such a basic bland blonde ale. Announced as a “new” beer on Barley’s menu so maybe they’ll fine-tune it. But as it stands right now it is macro-like boring. if all Blonde Bombshells were that appealing the entire California Porn industry would collapse.

This beer has a corn and cider-like aroma. The flavor is nutty like corn nuts with toasted malts and a soft, grassy bitterness in the finish. It has a medium-light body.
Draught (sample) at Barley’s Smokehouse in Columbus, Ohio. Rating #13 for this beer.
