Orange and citrusy hoppy aroma has some sugary candy notes. Starts with a fruity, almost artificial-tasting candy flavor with lots of citrus. Finishes sticky and bitter with some lingering sweetness. A nice beer, but I don’t think I’m that big a fan of whatever hops they use here. goldtwins (4085), Nesconset, New York, USA

Big citrus and orange hop aroma. Light earthiness. Maybe a little butterscotch underneath. Flavor has a citrus start that goes to a big citrus oil. Like if you squeezed the skins of lemons and grapefruits. Finish has a big bitterness. Long finish. Very nice. aracauna (2423), Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 8, 2006 This is not a bad beer. I had this as part of KP’s growler party last night. Pale amber, very slight haze. Fresh, hoppy aroma. Maybe a little butter. Moderate malt. Assertive bitterness. tingle. Slightly resiny. Apples. I’m getting a bit of Simcoe, so I’m betting Centennial is more to do with it being the 100th brew than the hop variety. brentfeesh (1040), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 23, 2005 On tap at #1, cask pour off the engine. Golden orange pour with a light thick head (semi-hazzy). Very fruity (fruit loops almost-not far from what the Hop Dragon at Olde Auburn smelled like) with hints of pine. With that comes sweetness and the promise of a solid malt body. Smooth creamy body with nicely blended citrus peal and pine like hops on top of ample sweet caramel malt. Make no mistake; this is a hop dominated brew. But, there is quite a bit of body holding this together. I picked up a growler of this for New Years! The aroma had me from the start. Beautiful hop, grapefruit and pine aroma above this. Flavor is malty with a nice bitter grapefruit finish. Great with the barbecue served at the smokehouse. Quite tasty and refreshing and a great way to start off the dinner with my wife tonight. Brodie (540), Blowing Rock, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 5, 2005 Distinctive orangey Centennial hop aroma. Very hazy, pale amber color, thin white head. Solid bitterness in the flavor, citrusy hops, and bubblegum(?). Medium body. BennyTicklez (621), USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 5, 2004 Pour is dark amber with a small head. Nice lacing. Low malt, high hops makes a good combo. Taste is more citrusy than earthy. Taste is also very fresh. Good IPA. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA

Yeah, this one's nice and hoppy (!!!), but it lacked some malt to provide a little balance. Also, it had a sharp astringent alcoholic edge to it - maybe an off batch(?). I'd like to try it again (and on cask)
