hazy yellow, sweet grapefruit aroma, huge peppery hop flavor, lots of lingering bitterness, only a hint of sweetness that is overrun by the hops, the sweetness finally grows enough to add another dinension

Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, lightly eathy and sugary. Tastes of juicy oranges, bitter grapefruit, and lightly floral. Has a nice lightly sweet to medium bitter balance. I might have to kill this growler by myself tonight! Rastacouere (5564), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Cask @ Barleys 2. A very drinkable pint for which the cask serving worked really well (as is often the case with centennial hops). Very spicy, sweet, earthy and tasty ale. It’s so fresh that it feels green at this point. The gentle acidity manages not to clash or exagerates its acidity, though it gives a lemonade twist accentuated by the low carbonation. Clean and very refreshing IPA with most interesting aromas. CaptainCougar (5530), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 23, 2006 Sampled from a growler courtesy of kp: Pours a lightly hazy golden with a frothy well-lacing white head. Orange and citrusy hoppy aroma has some sugary candy notes. Starts with a fruity, almost artificial-tasting candy flavor with lots of citrus. Finishes sticky and bitter with some lingering sweetness. A nice beer, but I don’t think I’m that big a fan of whatever hops they use here. Tmoney99 (4791), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 5, 2007 Draft at Smokehouse. Poured hazy copper color with a moderate fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Heavy sour citrus hop aroma. Medium body with slick texture. Heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Big citrus and orange hop aroma. Light earthiness. Maybe a little butterscotch underneath. Flavor has a citrus start that goes to a big citrus oil. Like if you squeezed the skins of lemons and grapefruits. Finish has a big bitterness. Long finish. Very nice. TomDecapolis (3211), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a hazy golden amber with a smaller off white head. Aroma of pine, mandarin orange, sweet caramel malt, slight earthiness. Flavors of sweet malts, various citrus, earthy, some light pine. Sweetness overpowers the bitterness...although there is still some there.
