Flavor of this on regular tap is creamy almost but quite enjoyable. The firkin sample was warmer and uncarbonated. Both finished a little weak, but overall nice. Pours a very hazy dirty deep orange with a thinning off white head and some lace. Aroma is very resinous, and sappy- pine, cedar, citrusy and grapefruit rind with a thick syrupy malt backbone. Sweetness form the malt is still dominated by craploads of hop juice,- more resin pine needle, sap, light cold smokey harsh hoppiness and a tacky sticky bitterness- high cohumulone. Finishes nice and smooth and easy dirnking despite the fact this must be high alcohol. Thanks again Dave!!! JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA

Big piney-floral aroma that is thick with hoppy goodness. Taste is a nice big piney blast of hops with just enough caramelish malt to keep things in line. Very fresh taste. Not as sweet as some of the best DIPAs (Pliny, Hopslam), but just a tad of peach/nectarine detectable (maybe I’m imagining things). Nice brew that I wouldn’t mind having more of if I can make it back to Columbus (the city, not the hop). CaptainCougar (5526), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Big, fresh piny and grapefruity hoppy aroma has some toasty sweet caramel notes. Starts with a sweet, sticky pale maltiness with some toffee and earthy hoppy bitterness with more floral piny flavor hops. Nicely balanced, fresh and enjoyable. nolankowal (854), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Hazy orange color with a nice creamy off white head. Aroma of earthy hops, citrus, cedar and light sweet malt. The flavor was made up of pine, citrus, wood, some tropical fruit and light sweet malt. . Smooth and creamy body with an ample amount of bitterness to it with a bitter/sticky finish. This was a neat one. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Hazy golden color with a monster head. Nice, full palate with good carbonation. Great citrus profile in the flavor, and a huge bitter hop bite. This one finishes very bitter. Another great beer from Barleys.
