Aromas of cherry, caramel, some brown sugar, and a touch of alcohol. Flavor is caramel, cherry, and brown sugar. Palate is medium bodied and a tad to the watery side. Alcohol is covered pretty well until the burn in the finish. Could benefit from a little more body but overall a pretty drinkable brew. BennyTicklez (621), USA

Aroma was dominated by caramelized malt, very sweet and fruity. I’ve had Scotch Ales with greater complexity, but this does "more with less," with lots of brown sugar, light fruit, juniper berries, toast, and a somewhat salty aftertaste. Medium-bodied. Very nice. Fantastic scotch ale. It slides down the back of your throat easily and leaves the delightful taste of sweet malt in your mouth. edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA
