edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA Jul 26, 2003 7/25/03: on tap at the smokehouse, served with a lemon. pleasant lemon aroma. cloudy, lemon yellow body (possibly a bit too yellow for the style). some lacing. wheat taste with only a slight bite (i think that a hefe should have more of a yeast bite than this one has). overall so-so. bender (293), Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA Jul 18, 2003 An opaque yellow body with a thick, white head. Some lacing.
Smells of lemons, yeast and bananas.
Lots of lemon and yeast in the flavor. Nice crisp wheat bite at the end.
Smooth and full on the palate but not heavy.
Gunshy (479), Ohio, USA Jul 28, 2002 This beer poured a cloudy straw color. It formed a nice white head that didn’t hold but left some nice lace. It had an aroma of hops and some citrus. The flavor was of hops and very light hint of citrus. It had a light finish. Overall, not an extremely hoppy beer, which I like.
bluemeow76 (693), Lewis Center, Ohio, USA Apr 22, 2002 Pretty good for a Hefeweizen - but I must admit, I’m not a big fan of the style. I don’t care for my beer to be served with a lemon! Next they’ll want to stick a little umbrella in it! Dogbrick (2813), Columbus, Ohio, USA Apr 21, 2002 Similar to Pyramid’s Hefeweizen. This is a light, clean pineapple colored beer with a fruity aroma. Served with a lemon.
