Flavor has a soft sweetness, much milder then I was expecting. Very flat tasting, the lack of carbonation leaves it a bit lifeless. BückDich (4848), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Bottle: Pours a copper bronze color with a light white head and a little lacing. The nose is lightly fruity with a bit of biscuit and malt liquorishness. This could be straight out of Russia if you changed the label. The flavor is thin and light, very light sweetness and ample fruit. Light bitter tail to balance. Bland and kind of boring. Perkeo (318), Portland, Oregon, USA

The taste is kinda off and I can’t pinpoint the finish but it’s not great. Lots of grains in this one. I’m not going to do this one again. BillKismet (1943), Seattle, Washington, USA

Clean flavor with a prominent, enjoyable graininess, mild fruitiness and on the sweet side. Crisp and easy drinking. My favorite Baron brew by far. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2008 draft @ brewery - clear, light amber; aromas of wheat and grain; drinks slightly sweet, but a tang to it that was not quite to my liking; mild fruit and malt flavors; light bodied and watery texture; kind of blah after4ever (2766), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 15, 2008 22. Pours crystal clear, deeply burnished coppery medium amber. Sourish nose--a wheat sour, or maybe an odd yeast choice or something. Caramel and biscuit there as well. Lightish body, got that clean and easy lager thing happenin’. Caramel, biscuit, toast, a little sharp peppery hop at the end, but not much. Long dry tea-ish finish. Just alright.
