Tasted from a 22oz. bottle. Dark brown-amber body, minuscule head. Bold caramel sweet nose with a hint of a malt presence. Grassy and diacytol butter flavor all over it. Undrinkable after about four sips. This was in my "cellar" for four months and should have held up. I believe this to be a poorly constructed beer, but I will definitely try it again. Re-Rate: On tap at Beulahland in PDX--Poured a deep copper-brown body. Not "helles" by any means. Sweet apple brown sugar flavor with some floral and bitter hops in the mix. Caramel finish. Overall, still a mediocre beer. too bad since I really love Baron’s stuff.

On tap at tasting room. Cloudy amber with good head. Sweet caramel and banana aroma and taste. Slight bitter finish. Smells like banana laffey taffey. This was enjoyable, but all over the place.

22oz Bomber – Gravity Room – Olympia, WA
Aroma – Deep malt aroma with a light hops in the background
Appearance – Deep Brown, clear as ever with a light head
Flavor – Had a deep malt flavor with some hreat hops and wheat flavors. The
Palate – The flavor was a tad buttry in the finihs and on the tounge. Had some off flavors hard to decide what they where
Overall –This was not too bad but not perfect. I liked the beer but it had some flavors that made it feel like it was rushed and did not have time in the fermentor. Will try again when i have the chance.

Poured a clear copper color with an off-white head. The aroma was huge on the diacetyl with some malt underneath the butter. The flavor has malt but quite a bit of butter. Hint of tartness on the finish.

Bottle pours a clear redish amber with a decent sized sandy colored head. Nice clingy lacing. Malty sweet aroma, slightly sour flavor with some buttery notes. Softly hopped and the mild malt flavor comes through. Lively carbonated and crisp light palatte.

8/8/07 From the bottle. Aroma is Sweet, fruity with some DMS and a light citrus. Appearance is orange/amber, with a light haze and a good off-white head. Flavor is sour bready malt forward with orange citrus tones, slight resin and astringency. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a low carb feel; very simple. Overall, a real letdown from such a good aroma.
