Clean flavor with a prominent, enjoyable graininess, mild fruitiness and on the sweet side. Crisp and easy drinking. My favorite Baron brew by far. Oakes (8139), Kowloon, Hong Kong
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 26, 2005 Golden colour. The aroma is clean and malty, moderately assertive. Slight fruity notes, hints of bready malt in the fairly assertive palate. Alcohol starts to wash over at the end, rounding out the flavour a bit. Pretty good rendition of a style that, when done well, is starting to appeal to me more and more. bhensonb (4369), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 18, 2008 Bomber from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Coppery color with a minimal white head. Light fruity aroma. Medium body with sharp carbonation. Flavor has a touch of sourt/tart, lightly roasted caramel, and is dry and mildly fruity in the finish. Rather clean, and surprisingly different. They nailed the color and the body, but sweetness is mild. Works for me. There’s a bit of sweet, but it is definitely checked by the tart. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 15, 2008 22. Pours crystal clear, deeply burnished coppery medium amber. Sourish nose--a wheat sour, or maybe an odd yeast choice or something. Caramel and biscuit there as well. Lightish body, got that clean and easy lager thing happenin’. Caramel, biscuit, toast, a little sharp peppery hop at the end, but not much. Long dry tea-ish finish. Just alright. SuzyGreenberg (1408), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a semi-clear golden light amber colored brew with a fast dissipating off-white head that leaves behind a thin white ring. Aroma of fruity caramel malt, a hint of bread dough and some floral hops. Taste is medium bodied, some tart apple, caramel and floral hops. Finish is semi-sweet with a floral hops and bread dough aftertaste that has a hint of tart fruit.
