| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Transparent orange bronze with a thin ring of off-white head. Aroma of slightly toasted malt with a heavy dose of vinegar and citrus hops. Body starts lightly sweet with some fruity tartness and grainy malts toward a drier finish. The tartness doesn’t come through as much as the aroma implied, but it’s still not the way it’s intended I’m assuming. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Smells of roses, caramel and very ESB like. Tastes of caramel, earth, roses, some bitter malt. Lots of tea and roses in this one. Overall, not very representative of the category. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 20, 2009 Dark amber to light copper color. Moderate beige head. LIghtly sour grain and fruit scents. Not a clean lager nose. LIghtly acid and acetic qualities in the flavors as well. Some decent toasted malt and hearty bread in the flavors. A sour dough quality. Some over ripe strawberries in the finish and into the linger. Not a clean brew. bhensonb (4369), Woodland, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Feb 21, 2008 Bomber from Liquid Solutions. Aroma of caramel. Amber color and no head, just bubbles on a pond. Near medium body with mild creamy carbonation. The flavor is sweet malt with some balancing bitter. Something like a light note of sour apple pops up once in awhile. Finish is a slightly bitter remnant after the sugar drains away. Skyview (4087), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 13, 2008 Purchased a single 22-oz bomber from Liquid Solutions in Oregon. Pours a semi-hazy caramel amber brew with a creamy off-white head that has some good retention and some spotty lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, a touch of pear and apple fruit, toffee and some roasted nuts. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of sweet caramel, flowery hops, some lemon zest and a touch of wet paper. Finish is semi-sweet, a light metallic, with a some thin caramel aftertaste is quickly disappears. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
