22oz bottle via hagen. Pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Nose is all about the malts and a bit biscuity. Taste starts with some sweet toffee, then some almonds, biscuits, cocoa, and more toffee in the finish/aftertaste. Not much in the way of hops but i do get a touch of smoke in the aftertaste. Finish is semi-dry, carbonation is just right for the style. Body is medium. A very nice Octoberfest that is spot-on for the style. baron continues to impress me with their tasty, easy-t-drink beers. WAAAY under-rated.

Sort of a nice malty beast, toasty caramel, earthy, and a touch of straw and hops towards the finish. Dry finish. Pours clear amber wtih a soft white head. Pretty well done Oktoberfest, traditional.

Bomber.

Pours a clear light caramel brown with a nice head. The aroma is dominated by grassy, slightly sour German hops (Saaz?) and with some light fruity notes. The flavor is beautifully balanced, showcasing a lovely smooth malt profile with a warm caramel notes and hints of peach that is edged by a noticable - but not in-you-face - hop finish.

This beer really comes together nicely. It’s exceptionally drinkable, entirely enjoyable, and interesting enough to keep my attention for all 22 ounces. It’s an inspiring beer. None of the outrageous double imperial oak aged quadrupel hop monster flavors that seem to be all the rage here lately; just a delicious beer that is all about balance and about getting the details right. As a result, it’s terrifically sessionable as well. Bravo!

Clear amber with a nice head. Nice mild hop aroma is very inviting. Slight roasted malt taste with just enough sweetness. One of the better Oktoberfests I’ve had! Lovely.

Clear amber with a white head. Mild spicy sweet caramel aroma. Medium body. Good spicy caramel, light pit fruit sweet flavors. Enjoyed this one.

Draft at Duck Island. Pours a hazy copper with a creamy white head. The aroma is nuts, hay and flowers. Nutty taste with some fruit leading to a floral and slightly grainy finish. Medium body and carbonation. The changed the tap handle out right after I tried this one, so I guess Oktoberfest is over, and you’ll need to wait until next year to try it.

Great aroma of fresh chestnuts and milk caramel. bottle poured a solid 2 inch head over clear nut-brown. malty sweetness stays even and soft throughout. creamy finish reminds me more of an ale.

This is a pretty good beer. The flavor is definitely malty but not too much. Crisp and light also. Easy drinking oktoberfest.
