There just isn’t that much there. No saazy-spiciness, no NW hoppiness. It’s not bad at all - I was hot after some hardcore fussball, and it was thirst quenching. Still, ZERO hoppy character, weak, indistinguished palate... I remember this being much better than it is when I step back and think critically about it. Hmm.

Clear light yellow pour. Mediocre, grainy lager, a bit on the sweet side, lacking the nice hop snap of the better examples. llcooldave (337), San Antonio, Texas, USA

Fairly clean tasting, light hops and light malt flavor. Overall, a nice brew but nothing too impressive. JPDIPSO (4928), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 4, 2009 Light golden color with an smallish off-white head. Aromas of pale malt and hints of noble hops. Smells like a lager. Flavors of pale malt, dough and just enough hops to keep it lively. Full, yet crisp feel. Finishes clean and unassuming. A very palatable premium lager. Not quite the hops I want in a pils, but quite drinkable. savnac (446), Palmer, Alaska, USA

Mildly sweet flavor with a light bitter hop taste. Crisp and light, average carbonation. This is a good example of a German Pilsener, very drinkable and smooth. alexanderj (2271), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 7, 2009 On tap at Taphouse Grill. Clear dull gold in color. Aroma of wheat, bread and straw. Flavor was dry and grainy, with bread and wheat. A bit of earthy hops in the finish. Ok beer. Crafty07 (393), Florence, Kentucky, USA

Surprised by the rather low rating on this site as the florar hops and pleasent bitterness should have ranked higher with this crowd. I recommend as a great thirst quencher.
