Medium amber with a good whiteish head. Smells like ham or bacon and eggs - very weird and strangely smokey. Flavor is a bit bland and sweet. Interesting but not great. AmEricanbrew (2000), Almost, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 23, 2008 Clear amber with a fleeting head. Nice smoked meat/jerky aroma. Medium body and smooth. A fairly mild flavor is Helles lager with only a hint of smoky jerky lingering in the finish. A big smoke smell with a light smoke taste was a bit of a letdown for me. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA

Very, very light smoke, cellophane on the aroma. Mild lagery taste, no appreciable smoke. Very light, almost watery palate. Just a decent lager with a small of hint of smoke. mcbackus (755), Merritt Island, Florida, USA

Pours amber with an offwhite head and is semi hazy in the glass. Smell is very lightly smoky, and has a strong lager, yeasty and malt quality. Taste is lightly smoky, with sticky lager malt, and a lightly sweet flavor. Somewhat thin bodied and light on the lighter side flavorwise as well. Light carbonation as well. This was decent and drinkable. GG (1678), NorCal, California, USA

The beer really delivers for those that love smoke beers. If you’re not a fan of the smoke, this this probably won’t be something you’d enjoy. The aroma is campfire smoke. Flavors are more smoke, bacon, a bit of grassy hops detected with a suprising twangy finish. Lots of smoke in this one and it was quite easy to drink, although an admitted smoked beer lover I could only drink one of these at a time. dchmela (1466), Orlando, Florida, USA
