Commercial Description:
The Uber-Weisse is a traditional WeizenStarkbier. Similar to other wheat doppelbocks, this is high in alocohol and complex in flavor. Slights notes of roast, chocolate, banana and sweetness. 8.5% in strength. Very balanced with a big full body or wheat and malt. Very smooth and easy to drink.

Picked up a single 22-oz bomber from Liquid Solutions in Oregon. Pours a semi clear dark brown colored brew with a thin beige head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of multi-grain malt, some dark pitted fruits, a hint of yeast and maple. Taste is medium bodied, some caramel and dark pitted fruits, light banana esters and a hint of wheat. Finish is slightly tart with some multi-grain malt and tart fruit aftertaste. Very little bitterness.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a tan head and a brown body. Aroma of raisins and dark fruits. Taste is lightly sour with some dark and rotten fruits. Light bubbles. The sourness doesn’t work to well on this weizen bock.
