May 24, 2007 Bottled. A nut-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty and very fruity combined with some notes of berries on a underlying note of caramel. The flavor is sweet caramelic combined with light notes of berries - reminding me of sloe berries, leading to a lightly bitter end where the notes of sloe berries lingers around. I wonder if the sloe berry notes I pick up actually are the Wattle seeds. Thanks to Papsoe for sharing.

Jan 27, 2008 Golden-brown colour. Nutty, oily aroma with wood undertones and some molasses-accented sugars. Sweet body. Hints of earth. Oily finish has a slightly plasticy character.
