JorisPPattyn (4282), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 24, 2008 Dark golden, clear beer, well-carbonated to small, yellow head. Nose of alcohol, sherry, higher alcohols, and despite all this, delicate. Sherry again in the taste, sweet, but not too sweet; cookies and fine grains. Bit of alcoholwarming, not really dry; medium bodied. Nice, if not really Belgian, this is quite good, IMO. According to the brewery, this ought to be a Belgian Pale strong ale.
